Vehicle Servicing
Car services can be broken into two types; minor services (generally every 10-15 thousand km depending on manufacturer) and major services (generally every 30-45 thousand kilometres depending on manufacturer). A minor car service includes replacing the engine oil and oil filter, battery testing, brake checks, light checks, tyre checks, wiper checks, hose and belt inspections, and air and fuel filter checks.
A major car service includes everything within a minor service with the addition of replacing ALL oils, filters, spark plugs, and brake fluids, as well as testing the cooling system and coolant condition.
The services vary deeply depending on the make and model of a given vehicle.
